El Médano
Located on the sunny southeast coast of Tenerife, El Médano translates as “The Sand Dune”.
Although handy to the nearby resorts of Playas de Las Américas and Los Cristianos, El Médano is yet affected by mass tourism.

At the end of El Médano’s 1.5 km long sandy bay is Montaña Roja (Red Mountain), an unique natural sight which is now a protected natural park.
